Coaching Improves Performance and The Bottom Line

Executive coaching can be carried out from my base in Manchester to people and companies around the world. So even though I do have the odd excursion to clients every year most times I sit at my desk with my headphones on and help people.

Often the first thing we look at is the simple steps to superior time management, quickly followed by a focus on the main issues facing the business.

I also do life coaching for executives so that we look at their business and personal lives in a more holistic way.

This hub goes someway to explaining why I love Manchester.

I moved here when I came to University in 1973 and with one brief 4 month period at my parents home working in a great, but temporary, job I've lived here ever since.

So enjoy the articles you read on this hub and please leave me feedback or anything Manchester related that you think like-minded readers will enjoy.

So sit back and enjoy a journey through Manchester and the car parking of our motorways!

  • Manchester City Hosts Eddie Stobart display and Rugby too

The first thing I noticed as I joined the traffic jam around Manchester City’s stadium was the vast throng of people queuing. “strange”, I though, “City aren’t playing today. What’s going on?” Thoughts that probably every motorist not involved was considering darkly as they sat in their hot, fume filled cars. Then I noticed several [...] - 36 hours ago

UK A-Z Part 2, issued on 10th April, celebrates some of the UK’s most famous tourist attractions. They range from the [...] - 6 weeks ago

  • Jingle Bells at Tesco

Following on from yesterday’s Christmas post on the flashmob at Tesco in Cheetham Hill the people involved kindly sent me a video of the whole thing. It’s a pity we didn’t get more shoppers looking gobsmacked, as I’m sure they were. And of course it was for an extremely worthwhile cause: Raising awareness of the [...] - 5 months ago

  • Christmas come to Cheetham Hill Tesco in a flash

A Christmas flash mob choir zipped into my local Tesco today and at 1pm they started singing that old favourite “Jingle Bells.” The choir in question is a 30 strong award winning ladies choir group, Crystal Chords. The choir, supported by Tesco,  sang to raise awareness of the Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer Scotland and of [...] - 5 months ago

  • Toadstools in Manchester

Isn’t it strange? How suddenly you can get a few mushrooms or toadstools spring up. I was in the garden the other day and I noticed quite a huge number of toadstools. They were spread between two stepping log “stones” and also under the trampoline. What was really quite surprising was that there appeared to [...] - 6 months ago
